Perfect for couples birthing at home with private midwives.
"My home is my sanctuary" and for many it is a place they feel safe. This is so important when preparing to birth your baby.
Women choose to birth at home for a variety of reasons. Some of these may include, previous birth trauma, to have their children or close family and friends present or to simply enjoy minimal disruption.
What I love about supporting homebirths is the somewhat relaxed nature in which we approach our appointments, often with a warm cup of tea in hand.
It's an honour to be invited into a couple's home in what is such a personal time.

What is a Closing of the Bones Ceremony?During pregnancy and birth our physical bodies and energy fields expand at peak levels. A Closing of the Bones Ceremony acknowledges new mothers following their birth. This is done by wrapping long scarves or rebozo’s from head to toe resembling a grounded warm embrace. A gentle ceremony that guides you back to your body, your bones into place, whilst increasing warmth and blood flow. Re-establish a sense of self through this ultimate self care and age old ritual.
What is Abhyanga massage?Abhyanga massage is a full body massage using warm Ayurvedic herbal oils to pacify and bring balance to the nervous system. You will be gently invited into a state of deep rest and rejuvenation using long sweeping strokes with various pressure and activation of marma points. Some of the many benefits include: Reduces fatigue and promotes deep sleep Stimulates and strengthens the lymphatic system Enhances blood circulation Increases oxytocin, the loving, bonding and anti-anxiety hormone Detoxification of the body Supports digestion
What is the duration of the Abhyanga massage and Closing of the Bones Ceremony? And when can I book in?Abhyanga warm oil massage is 80 minutes duration and recommended 21 days postpartum or 3 months post c-section. The Closing of the Bones ceremony is 90 minutes and recommended 6 weeks postpartum.
Can we bring our newborn along with us to the Abhyanga massage and Closing of the Bones Ceremony?Yes, of course your little one can join us. However, if you are fortunate on the day to have someone mind your bubba either at home or together with you, that’s great too. It may be difficult at times to hold your baby whilst receiving your treatment. Trust what feels right for you and your baby on the day.
Can I choose one of these above options without choosing the whole Ayurvedic Experience? This package has been designed with a new mother and full immersive experience in mind. It is preferred that new mothers experience the full package for optimal results. I am more than happy to discuss individual options at the time of your enquiry.
Can I add the Ayurvedic Postpartum Experience to my birthing support package?YES absolutely. This package can be added to any of my birthing support packages.

Clients Say ...
From the moment we met Kellie we knew that she was exactly what my partner and I were looking for. Kellie supported us to see this pregnancy and birth as completely different to our last so that we could create a new story for ourselves, whilst also support us to work through any fears we might have held.
She holds an incredible depth of wisdom. During my labour her presence was quiet, gentle, nurturing and strong. Kellie held space for my partner and I throughout my long labour and gave my partner the reassurance and practical guidance to support me, empowering us as a couple.
My biggest learning and reward from this journey with Kellie was to trust in my body. Kellie's belief in me and my ability allowed me to fully drop into my labour, harness my power and achieve a beautiful VBAC at home.
When I lost my way in late pregnancy and labour, Kellie was always there any time I needed her.
Kellie is an incredible doula and it was an absolute honour having her support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Having Kellie as our doula was central to our healing in this pregnancy and birth and to allowing us to achieve the birth we hoped for. Thank you for being by our side, we will be forever grateful.

Kellie was such a wonderful support during the pregnancy, birth and postpartum of our first son! What I loved most was the range of offerings she brought to our family...
She was equally happy and skilled at talking with me through relationship and emotional issues, gave me some of the best massages and bodywork I've ever had, suggestar and guided rituals and rites of passage for me as a mother, held and loved our little bubba, and supported both mother and father through the transition. She really supported our whole family as two became three, and we found her love and care absolutely priceless!
I felt so held during the whole process and especially the labour! She absolutely had me and guided me and was such a solid rock of support... everything I could have asked for!.
Kellie was like a family member who was so happy to help, but who we knew absolutely had aligned values and would respect and honour our wishes! (Family can be tricky at times haha).
Her genuine care, friendship, wealth of knowledge and women's wisdom, intuitive nature, humour, kindness and tender care were such a gift to us all, and I know she will be a blessing to any family who choose her support during such a potent and precious time.

Kellie’s experience and expertise in all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum was absolutely invaluable to us during our journey. Kellie has a very open minded wholistic approach which we really appreciated.
Not to mention she is very approachable and non judgemental. It was amazing to have someone who listened to me, trusted me, and help guide me when I asked.
Kellie went above and beyond for us.
She always brought such a calming presence, whether it be during birth preparation appointments, the day of Hugh’s birth or during the those early postpartum weeks.
It has been so incredible sharing such a special time in our life with Kellie and she will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Kellie was absolutely invaluable through the final months of my pregnancy, the labour, birth and first week's of my daughter's life.
Kellie was a huge support both emotionally and physically during this time and even managed to bring everything together for us at the last minute so that we could have a home birth in our new house (literally less than a week before the birth!). The labour was quick - just six hours - but Kellie was there from the first contractions to the final push with encouraging words, gentle massage and lots of loving support.
I had so many complications with breastfeeding in the early weeks and Kellie helped out with finding a lactation consultant, tracking down a breast pump at short notice, bringing shields and bottles and whatever else was needed over to the house and helping out with advice and support every day during this very difficult time.
Kellie truly did help immensely to make my pregnancy and birth the wonderful experience that it was. I am eternally grateful for Kellie's support and would absolutely recommend her services as a doula to anyone who is considering taking this path.
