During pregnancy and birth our physical bodies and energy fields expand at peak levels. A Closing of the Bones Ceremony acknowledges new mothers following their birth. A gentle ceremony that guides you back to your body, your bones into place, whilst increasing warmth and blood flow. Re-establish a sense of self through this ultimate self care and age old ritual.

  • Can we bring our newborn along with us to the Abhyanga massage and Closing of the Bones Ceremony?
Yes, of course your little one can join us. However, if you are fortunate on the day to have someone mind your bubba either at home or together with you, that’s great too. It may be difficult at times to hold your baby whilst receiving your treatment. Trust what feels right for you and your baby on the day.
  • Can I choose one of these above options without choosing the whole Ayurvedic Experience?
This package has been designed with a new mother and full immersive experience in mind. It is preferred that new mothers experience the full package for optimal results. I am more than happy to discuss individual options at the time of your enquiry.
  • Can I add the Ayurvedic Postpartum Experience to my birthing support package?
YES absolutely. This package can be added to any of my birthing support packages.

Kellie has become far more than just a doula to us. We are honoured to call her a dear friend and we are so blessed and grateful to have her a part of our lives.

Having Kellie as part of my support team throughout my pregnancy and postpartum was by far the best thing my partner and I chose to do for our journey.

I originally wanted a home birth with a private midwife so when that become unfeasible for us I knew it was really important to gain a doula for support.

We met a few doulas before Kellie but instantly had a strong connection with her and knew that she fit into our dynamic perfectly.

My partner wanted to support my need for a doula and loved Kellie, however, it wasn’t until my labour that he really understood and appreciated how invaluable Kellie was on our team. She does not just support the mother but she supports the family as a whole and that became so clear as she guided Brenton so caringly in every moment of my labour.

At every meeting we had Kellie stayed as long as I needed her and answered any questions we had. The questions she didn’t know the answer too she went away and seeked them out. She was available for phone conversations at any time of day and night and trust me that was needed at points along the way.

We could never speak highly enough of Kellie and will ask her again and again for any future children we may have to be apart of our team.

Kellie has an incredible warmth that makes you feel safe and protected while simultaneously empowering you to feel strong and brave. This represented my journey into motherhood and for that we cannot thank Kellie enough and strongly recommend her to anyone no matter their circumstance.

The birth of our first child was amazing, but this time we wanted to see if we could get through labour with less medical intervention.  Kellie’s support and encouragement throughout the journey helped us achieve this.

Kellie embraced us with her whole heart.  She was professional, caring, respectful and true to our wishes.  Visits from Kellie during the pregnancy allowed us time to discuss openly our fears and hopes around the birth and made us feel comfortable with her gentle manner.

Knowing that I had my husband and Kellie advocating for me in a hospital environment meant I could focus all my energy on birthing my baby.  I felt very safe and supported, and this gave me a deeper sense of strength and positivity during Nate’s birth.

The postnatal support Kellie provided was amazing.  Her visits ensured the wellbeing of our entire family and nurtured us into the next stage of our life

Engaging Kellie as our Doula was hands down the best decision we made for the birth of our second child. Kellie’s warm, intuitive and thoughtful approach felt like a warm hug every time we saw her.

She helped us navigate the ups and downs of a physically and emotionally challenging pregnancy and was incredibly generous with her time and resources. Our hospital birth was more beautiful than we could have imagined. This was in no small part thanks to the way Kellie held the space, offered reassurance and encouragement, made suggestions, all the while giving my husband and I space to ride the waves of birthing together as a strong unit. In the post partum period it was a joy to see Kellie each time she visited and I felt completely nurtured after seeing her. She often came baring gifts but importantly helped us hold space for our first child as we all navigated the transition to a family of 4.

We are so grateful for Kellie’s support and friendship. It has been a life affirming experience bringing our second child into the world.
