This module has been created by Kellie Whiskin a highly respected Doula, Movement Therapist, Educator and Counsellor who sees birth partner's, as one of the most integral parts of the birthing woman's journey. All modules are inclusive and recognise that birth partners have unique perspectives and experiences too.
What is a 'birth partner'?
A birth partner is someone who is invited by the birthing woman, into her birth space, to provide continuous, non-medical support, during labour and birth. This may include, but not limited to, her intimate partner, family member or trusted friend.
MODULE 2. IDENTIFYING YOUR VALUES
This module equips birth partners with the tools to navigate and align values, promoting informed and collaborative decision-making during the birthing process. By acknowledging and comprehending each other's values, both you and the birthing woman can make decisions during birth that are in harmony with your shared vision. In this module you will learn how to identify and acknowledge you and your partner's own set of beliefs, experiences, and expectations.
