This one's for you!

The role of a birth partner can never be understated.
Studies* have shown that support provided by known and trusted birth companions during labour and childbirth improves maternal and neonatal outcomes and helps women in having more positive childbirth experiences and physical outcomes.
What you do as a birth partner makes a difference and we're ready to guide you with what you need to know.

Thank you for taking the time to be here.
At Our Doula, we thrive on unlocking the secrets to enjoying an empowering birth in hospital! and YES, it’s absolutely possible!
My name is Kellie, a dedicated and experienced doula and movement therapist who sees you, the birth partner, as one of the most integral parts of the birthing woman's journey.

Recent BMC studies* published in October 2022 concluded that partners may feel very vulnerable and stressed in this unfamiliar situation. They need emotional and informal support from staff, want to be actively involved, and play an important role for the birthing woman.
I want to see you confident and empowered as you prepare for birth. You are the key person who provides non-medical support, comfort, and a sense of safety to the birthing woman, and your thoughts and feelings matter too.

Our Doula is here to support you every step of the way, providing everything you need to feel like the best-prepared birth partner ever. No questions will be left unanswered.

If you are a birth partner and this resonates with you, then you're in the right place. I look forward to meeting you in the Partnered Birth Program.

Our unconscious mind hears no negatives.
It is our role to take the fear
out of the woman, not the birth,
because her body knows what to do. - Elizabeth Noble
